RYAN STEVENS: This is NAPW Online's Ryan Stevens with another exclusive interview. I'd like to thank today the World's Champion Kenny Krenshov for joining me tonight.
KRENSHOV: No thanks needed Ryan, let's just get this over with.
RYAN STEVENS:Uh... you're here of your own volition, Kenny. *ahem* The first question on everybody's mind has to be your relationship with Ravager since winning the world championship. Are the Faces of Death still interested in regaining NAPW tag team gold, or are you going your separate ways?
KRENSHOV: Look. Ravager and myself have a great working relationship and a great friendship. He supports me winning the World Championship the same way I would support him if he was wearing the ten pounds of leather and gold. The Faces of Death are still alive and someday, if the circumstances allow it, we'll take back the titles that were raped from us in the first place.
RYAN STEVENS: So you have no concern of Ravager, say, earning the #1 Contendership and challenging you for the World Title?
KRENSHOV: Heh. I see what you're trying to do. But the answer is, yes and no. I'm not worried about the stability of the Faces of Death, our friendship, and Ravager's chances in Sole Survivor. He's easily the number one pick to take home the event, and if he happens to win we'll sort it out at a later date. If there's anyone that has even a chance at taking my title, it's Ravager. Any more cute questions, Ryan?
RYAN STEVENS: Why are you no longer "Colossal?"
KRENSHOV: Me being the 'Colossal' Kenny Krenshov was my old manager's idea. You know, that groveling prick Eli Potts. He thought that it'd be easier to book me for indy shows and would be a better draw for promoters if fans saw the word 'Colossal' on flyers. When I dumped Eli, I dumped the name. Kenny Krenshov is a household name now, I don't need some lame word to gimmick up my style. Everyone knows I'm colossal, that I'm a demon in the ring, and that I can destroy anyone that I come across.
RYAN STEVENS: Speaking of nicknames... your next opponent and challenger to the NAPW World Champion claims to be "The Original Legend." I am speaking of course of the undefeated 2009 Canada Cup Champion, The Outlaw. Have you had a chance to read the interview I recently conducted him, and your thoughts on this upcoming world title match?
KRENSHOV: I heard something about this guy, but what'd you say his name was?
RYAN STEVENS: The Outlaw.
KRENSHOV: Oh right. Well, I looked at the Canada Cup brackets this year, and man... weakest I've ever seen it. This guy, what was it... Outlaw, that's it! This guy Outlaw, he got an easy ride to win the Canada Cup. I don't blame him, I blame it on Donnie not understanding how to book an event. Anyway, good on him, he got a credential under his belt, but to answer your question... no. I haven't read his interview. But what does it really matter? This kid doesn't have a goddamn chance.
RYAN STEVENS: At least you're more concise than The Outlaw. So you're looking past him to your next defense?
KRENSHOV: I don't look past anyone, Ryan. What I do is I run right through them. He won the Canada Cup and now he probably thinks he's hot shit. Well, at Sole Survivor, I'm going to make sure he understands his place. And his place is wherever I'm not.
RYAN STEVENS: Your current individual success notwithstanding, the Faces of D!eath were dealt a huge blow in War Games. As a result of the loss, your allies Ravager and D! are barred from participating in the biggest match of the NAPW calendar year. Yet you are still World Champion. How has this situation affected the FoD!?
KRENSHOV: Well, first of all, there's an amendment that needs to be made to your question. It's the Faces of Death, and the letter that is not to be spoken is no longer apart of the equation. Understand? Good. Now, Ravager can always fend for himself, but he always has me to back him up. Just because Astros books a match to end the stable wars doesn't mean we won't keep fighting the good fight.
RYAN STEVENS: You are no longer allied with D!?
KRENSHOV: What are you from Tulsa? What's not to get? In case you need me to spell it out for you- N! O! Said real loud.
RYAN STEVENS: You heard it here first, folks. The most unlikely alliance in NAPW has been dissolved. Speaking of alliances disintegrating, do you have a comment on DIRTY MONEY's own infighting --- Krusty Kid Paul attacking Chris Casino in the waning moments of War Games?
KRENSHOV: I had the best seat in the house for that moment. There were no camera angles that caught the beautiful vision I saw. Seeing Chris Casino eat a fist from that methed out retard almost made the letter that will not be said losing the match for us worth it.
RYAN STEVENS: What about III? Dan Ryan, Lloyd Rees and Bruce Richards each have a title shot anytime, anywhere... although they must give one week's notice to claim their title shots, so none of them can follow in your... footsteps, as it were. Don't be such a prick about it, Ryan. I operated within the rules to win my championship. As for III... so what? They have title shots for whichever title they want. Will all of them take a stab at me? Maybe just one? Who knows? And really, who cares? When it comes down to it, one-on-one, I'm ready to destroy each of them.
RYAN STEVENS: What does it mean to Krenshov to be NAPW World Champion?
KRENSHOV: Way to turn Barbara Walters on me. What it means to Kenny Krenshov, is, well... everything. It means that I'm the best. There's absolutely no disputing it, at all. I knew it for years. I knew it the first time I beat Astros with one leg... and unfortunately that injury would hinder any sort of long reign I could have hoped for. But now, I'm healthy. I worked all the way from the bottom to the top, just like before, and I've won the championship once again. Now, I plan to keep it. I'll keep it because I'm the best, and I plan to continue to prove that fact for as long as I can.
RYAN STEVENS: Is there anybody in NAPW you would like to square off against in the next six months? Whether it's a rematch or a brand new match...
KRENSHOV: Heh. I'd say Jake Phoenix, but... Let's face it, he snubbed me when I was willing to take his Heritage Championship from him, so, fuck Jake Phoenix. Aside from that old bird, I think I'd like to step in the ring with Astros if he ever gets serious about stepping out of retirement. I beat his ass with a limp, I'd love to show everyone what I could do to him at full health. And let's face it, I owe Astros for letting Dirty Money steal my tag team glory.
RYAN STEVENS: It would be fair to suggest the past six months, since your return from the knee injury, have been your most consistent and clearly most successful. How do you account for this when reflecting upon the earlier stages of your career with NAPW?
KRENSHOV: When I came into NAPW, I had Eli Potts basically calling the shots for my career. He made the deals that would land me the most money. I wasn't happy with all of the decisions, but man I loved the cash. So I rolled with it, and it's a bit of an understatement to say I made one hell of an impact. But the path I was heading down wasn't exactly one for success. Finally, when I dumped Eli, I decided to make my own decisions. Basically, I wanted to get my head out of my ass and set my self up for success. Well that was working all well and fine, but then I got that goddamn knee injury and that threw everything into limbo for me. So, I healed up, and I made sure my head was in the right place before I came back. I knew that I would have to rely on myself, but really, I needed to have someone I can trust I teamed up with Ravager, and I made sure that every match and every move I made counted. I want to be the embodiment of success. I want people to look at me and wish to have what I have, to know what I know, and want to be who I am.
RYAN STEVENS: I'm sure the lack of Prince Darko in NAPW hasn't hurt you any.
KRENSHOV: You know. I don't care what kind of PR nightmare this causes for NAPW, but I hope he suffers with whatever he has for a long time. But I hope he recovers, and I hope he comes back. Dying to a disease isn't good enough for that little bastard.
RYAN STEVENS: You're a good man, Kenny.
KRENSHOV: Don't patronize me, Ryan.
RYAN STEVENS: Any last words for NAPW wrestlers and fans?
KRENSHOV: Yeah, make sure to come to Sole Survivor to see not only the big event, but to see World Champion Kenny Krenshov, this guy, successfully destroy... uh... what was his name again?
RYAN STEVENS: "The Original Legend" The Outlaw
KRENSHOV: Yeah, come see me, Kenny Krenshov, destroy uh, that guy.
RYAN STEVENS: Thanks again, Kenny. The NAPW World Champion Kenny KRENSHOV, wrestling fans, who will defend the NAPW World Championship at Sole Survivor against "The Original Legend" The Outlaw!
