The bell rings as Dez Carter sizes his opponent, Newfy Jack, up. Jack lunges for the smaller man, but Dez Carter ducks the attempted clothesline and delivers a solid side kick to the ribs of Newfy Jack. Jack winces, but backs off. Dez motions for a lock-up, and Jack smirks. They collar-and-elbow, and Newfy Jack gets the upper hand, and picks up the smaller man with a back drop. Dez writhes in pain as Newfy Jack looks to his manager, the dead cod, for advice. Jack nods, and drops an elbow into the chest of Dez Carter. And does it again. And a third time, no, Dez rolls out of the way, and Newfy Jack gets nothing but canvas. Dez takes advantage with a sharp kick to the back of Jack, and locks in the stretch plum. That's GOTTA hurt Newfy Jack's back, and what's a big man without a back? Nothin'! Jack cries out as Dez torques his head. Jack looks like he's fading, but manages to roll over onto Dez. Carter's shoulders are on the mat, one, two, Dez breaks the hold in order to not get pinned. Although this is Jack's first NAPW match, that's a veteran move right there. Dez tries a different tack, by unleashing a combo of kicks to the sides of Newfy Jack. Newfy Jack falls back, but decides enough is enough, and grabs the leg of Dez Carter. Carter with the enzugiri, but Jack counters it by simply swinging Carter by his leg, taking him off balance. Jack picks up Carter, and plants his head on the mat with a solid DDT. Man, it seems like Dez is in trouble here as Jack goes for the pin. One, two, kickout by Carter! Newfy Jack goes to his corner, and picks up Charlie, bringing him to his ear for some more words of advice. Carter gets up and approaches Newfy jack, but Jack is ready for him! Smack! The crowd goes silent as they realize that Newfy Jack has used Charlie the Cod as a weapon. Hell, Dez Carter's dumbstruck. "Cod kisses you!" shouts Newfy Jack, but Dez Carter with a palm strike to the chest folds Jack in half. Tiger driver by Dez, no! Newfy Jack stands back up with Dez Carter on his back, and Jack with a Death Valley Driver position. Yes, this is the Trimmin', Newfy Jack's version of Sean O'Haire's Prophecy! Dez Carter his the mat with authority, and Jack hooks the leg. One, two, three! Newfy Jack is victorious in his NAPW debut! As Jack celebrates with Charlie up the ramp, Asuka Katsuragi checks on Carter.
Before the match can begin, Dio Muerte ambushes Sam Finn in the aisle with a bat-shot to back. Wait a minute, not on the concrete --- Muerte with a DDT in the aisleway on the near seven-footer! Muerte grabs the hair of Finn and rolls him into the ring, where the bell rings to signal the official beginning of this match. Muerte is quick to grab Finn, what's he doing here? No way! Brainbuster suplex on the big man, surprising strength from Muerte. He's quickly to the top rope, and the Frog Splash connects for one, two, kick-out by Sam Finn. Muerte waits for his man to get up, shuffle side kick --- Finn levels the man with a lariat. Irish whip by Finn, but wait, Muerte leaps to the ropes, springboards off and catches Finn with the Demortalizer. He hooks the leg and listens as the referee counts one, two, three. A big, big win for Dio Muerte here on Action!... Sam Finn barely even showed up for this one, folks.
Brawling to start from the K to the K to the P. He gets Young in the corner, then charges in. Instead of squashing Thomas Young with a splish-splash, he takes a Big Boot right in the mush. KKP stumbles backwards, and Young rushes him with the running STO. Snap. So quick, so lethal. Young picks the KKP up, Paul gets a thumb to the eye, he spins around for the Bottle Opener --- Thomas Young fights the German Suplex. Young gets behind KKP again, Paul releases and goes for a clothesline, Young ducks and hits a big boot. The 245 pounder flips KKP up for the Dead End spinning powerbomb! That could be all, but Thomas Young isn't going for the cover. He swiftly pulls KKP up, slaps his chest, and then hooks Paul for the Shades of Death! It connects, Young continuing to hold the leg for one, two, three. Very strong victory from Thomas Young here on TNF, KKP just doesn't seem to have it on his own, away from Tommy Deathrow. TV TITLE MATCH: Prince Darko (c) vs Nightmare Nightmare and Prince Darko lock up to start. Nightmare uses his power to push Darko to the ropes, but Darko trips up the big man with a drop toe hold. Nightmare lands on his face, and Darko is quick to apply a crossface! Nightmare grabs the ropes, and the hold is broken. Darko backs off briefly, but as soon as Nightmare is on his feet, Darko nails The Effect! Nightmare goes down, and Darko covers! One... Two, Nightmare kicks out with authority. Darko tries to keep momentum, charging his rising opponent, but Nightmare nails a charging Darko with a big boot! Not bothering with a cover, Nightmare lays some boots to his fallen foe, to the boos of the fans. Nightmare drags Darko to his feet, and nails the TV champ with a huge short arm clothesline! Nightmare lands on top of the champ for the pin fall! One.. Two... Darko kicks out! Nightmare looks a bit flustered, and decides to wear out the Prince with a head lock. Putting all his weight on his smaller opponent, Nightmare cinches in the hold. Referee Morgan Smythe checks for a submission, but doesn't catch Nightmare switching the hold up to a choke! Darko flails as the fans try to point out the blatant cheating, but the challenger has switched back to a legal hold by the time Smythe thinks to check. Darko appears to be fading, and Nightmare decides it's time to finish things. He sets up the champ for the Dreamcatcher! He hoists Darko up! ... Darko reverses into a DDT! Both men are down! Nightmare is a bit quicker getting to his feet, but by the time he's ready to attack Darko, the champ is on his feet and he catches Nightmare with a huge Spinebuster! But the effort to lift up the big man took a lot out of Darko. He makes the cover, but only gets a two count. Nightmare is on his knees, and receives a kick to the back from Darko. Then another. Darko laying in some hard kicks to the back of the challenger, but Nightmare is not backing down! He grabs Darko's leg... and Darko nails an enziguri! Nightmare goes down and Darko covers! One... Two... Darko is up, he appears to be in some pain... Nightmare gouged the eye of Darko rather than waste effort kicking out! The fans are harsh when sharing their opinion of the challenger's tactics, but he doesn't seem to care. He grabs Darko, and lifts him up for a chokeslam... and Darko gets an eye gouge of his own! Nightmare drops the champ as his hands go to his eyes! Darko nails Nightmare with a boot to the gut, and hits the Massive Trauma Brainbuster! It's over as soon as he covers! One... Two... Nightmare gets his foot on the ropes! The fans are getting behind Darko, as he's giving Nightmare everything he's got. He goes for the Zamuda driver, but Nightmare powers out of it, back body dropping the champion... Darko turns it into a sunset flip! Smythe counts One... Two... Nightmare barely kicks out! Darko is ready to put this away! He hits the ropes and goes for the Over and Out! Nightmare holds on to Darko! ... and tosses him crotch first onto the ring ropes! Smythe chastises Nightmare for this, but he insists that it was an accident. But he doesn't insist for too long. He drags Darko off the ropes! DREAMCATCHER II ! Darko looks to be out as Nightmare covers... and grabs a handful of tights! One, Two, Three! And we have a new NAPW TV Champion! Nightmare snatches the belt away from Smythe and holds it high for the fans to see. They boo the new champ, but also give some respect to Prince Darko, who put up a Hell of a fight. But this moment is all about Nightmare. He smirks as the fans boo him. And doesn't seem to notice a faint cheer that seems to be growing...
CHAD KURTIS OUT OF THE CROWD! SUPERKICK TO THE CHIN! BAM! Nightmare goes down! The fans go nuts as Kurtis stands over the new TV champion, letting him know who's next in line...
