Kevin Kodiak vs Al B. Damned (w/Sebastien Martyr)
The Damned make their way to the ring to the disapproval of several hundred NAPW fans in Red Deer. Edgar Winter kicks up and out comes the fan-favorite Kevin Kodiak. What a donation from Kevin Kodiak to the Firefighters Children's Charity!
Kodiak gets into the ring to a solid pop. Martyr is telling Damned to jump Kodiak from behind... Al has misgivings? Well, the chance is gone. Here's the bell and a big power match starts off. The crowd coming alive for the lumberjack as he hits a spinning leg lariat. Damned pops up, tries a right hand but Kodiak blocks and fires some of his own. Another, another, and Kodiak's going to try for TIMBERRRR.
But he can't muscle Damned over. Kodiak's a big man, but Al B. Damned is one pound short of the 300 mark. Kodiak tries again... Damned fights out and sends to the ropes, huge atomic drop. Damned covers... another big kick-out by Kodiak! Damned sends Kodiak to the ropes, Kodiak reverses! Big double ax-handle stuns Damned, Kodiak off the ropes --- Martyr grabs his ankle again! NORTHERN BC LARIATOOOOOOOO! COVER ONE! TWO! THREE! Kodiak wins!
Kodiak has his arm raised to the cheers of the crowd... and then he puts his hand out to the disappointed Al. "Come on Al... shake my hand... in the spirit of charity..." Al looks uncertain, but then shakes Kodiak's hand to a good ovation. Sebastien Martyr comes around to witness this display of sportsmanship. Whoops. He doesn't look too happy with his protege...
"HUH" blazes through the arena, the crowd knows who it is, they start to boo. Parents hold up their kids in the air, they boo as well. Prince W. Darko sticks his hand out from the curtains, someone immediately tosses a soda bottle. He now walks out, another bottle is thrown, he's able to evade it completely. He rolls into the ring, not taking the risks of standing of the apron and getting caught by a plastic projectile. The Prince starts talking."What I wanna know, if you people are so poor, why the hell are you throwing bottles at me? I mean..." The crowd showers Darko with boos. "SHUT UP YOU POOR PIECES OF SHIT!"
The crowd is booing louder now. "See, I show up here, taking time out of my life, MY LIFE! You people should be happy to see me. The Falcon says no, and he tries valiantly to reach the ropes. But the New York Nightmare may have been too much for him, and Rossi pulls Venar farther away from freedom, leaving the rookie little choice but to tap out.
