Cage and North shake hands and the bell sounds. Cage grabs North for a headlock. Instinctively, North quickly goes to the ropes, using his first rope break. North's smile flickers momentarily, a hint of irritation on his face - he instinctively went to the ropes as though it were a normal match. But only for a moment. With a grin, North once more locks up with Mark Cage. Cage overpowers him and throws him down. Cage lets North get up. The crowd cheers the sportsmanship. Gunderson shoots for a leg and gets it on Cage. He applies a quick leg lock and out of desperation, Cage hits him with a right hand. John Sharplin gives Cage a warning. Gunderson broke the hold to attend to his nose. Cage takes advantage and gets behind the rising Gunderson. GERMAN SUPLEX. Cage goes for the pin. One... Two... Kick out by Gunderson. North is in the ropes as his legs are flailing, which eats up his second rope break. Cage and Gunderson rise to the cheers of the crowd. Gunderson charges into Cage and BAM. Closed fist floors North. The referee issues a warning to Mark Cage for the closed fist. Cage's new manager, Chris Mason, chimes in "No problems, Mark, you've still got him!" Cage went for that closed fist on instinct. He picks North up, this time chopping his man with the open hand. Cage attempts a Brain buster... He nails it. One! Two! Kick out by North. Mark looks for the kill - triangle choke applied! He gets it almost cinched in... but desperately Gunderson gets to the ropes. And that's North's final rope break. Both men to their feet - Gunderson kicks Cage right in the leg. While Cage is staggering, Gunderson comes from behind with the Million Dollar Dream. Cage is trying to get to the ropes! He is fading, but is slower in movement. Sharplin tries to raise the hand of Cage, but Cage doesn't let it drop. The crowd are cheering both men on. Cage wills himself near the ropes. He kicks off of them and falls backwards with North under him a la Bret Hart/Steve Austin! John Sharplin makes the count! One... North can't get free - Two... Three! Mark Cage with a big Pure Honor win, but North Gunderson looks disappointed. The two men take a second to catch their breath. North's big smile returns. Cage extends his hand, still favoring his neck... North shakes it. The crowd cheers the respect and sportsmanship!
Delivery Man #2 and "Durty" Dutch, the smaller men of their respective teams, lock up. #2 with an arm drag, flipping Dutch onto the mat. Dutch counters, with a headscissors takedown. Dutch follows up with a legdrop to the chest of #2, and #2 counters by grabbing Dutch's legs and rolling him up. Dutch kicks out at one. Some cruiserweight showboating by both men leads to cheers and applause by the crowd. #2 and Dutch look at each other, and #2 tags in #1. #1 stands over the smaller southerner, and Dutch lifts a finger in a "just hold that thought" motion. Dutch tags in Rod Hardaway, who looms over #1, smirking. #1 walks over to his corner, and tags in #2 again. "What the frick?" yells #2. #2 slaps #1 on the chest, not wanting any part of Hardaway. Both Delivery Men are in the ring, arguing now. "Are you frickin' kidding me? Look at the size of that guy!" "You're frickin' bigger than *I* am!" Hardaway chuckles, and grabs both men, but that's just what the Delivery Men want, as they both irish whip Rod into the ropes. A double elbow to the gut of Hardaway. Double bulldog! #1 covers for a one count as #2 climbs out of the ring to his corner. Rod Hardaway gets up, and just LARIATS #1. Hardaway picks up the Delivery Man, and lifts him over his head in a vertical suplex. Rod showing his strength by keeping #1 up there for a good minute! Wow! And down goes #1, and Rod pulls over the leg. No, only two! Rod picks up #1, and whips him to the ropes. Blind tag by #2, and Hardaway with a Mafia Kick to the face of #1 gets #1 out of the ring, but Hardaway doesn't know that #2's the legal man. #2 to the top, and a FLYING CROSSBODY! Speedy Delivery! Only gets two. #2 locks in the Stranglehold Alpha, and pulls for all he's worth. Hardaway is grimacing, but he's crawling to his corner with the smaller man on his back. He's got the ropes! The referee warns #2 to let go of the hold, as Dutch reaches down and tags himself in. Dropkick to the face of #2! Dutch picks up #2 by the head! Swinging DDT! Cover, one! Two! Kickout by #2! Dutch picks up #2, but #2 whirls around Flanagan and applies a half-nelson. Bulldog by the Delivery Man! Psychotic Sara jumps on the ropes, sensing a momentum shift. The second Pure Honor match of the night. Carter Owens and Ravager have both been on a bit of a losing streak... but the number one contender slot for the Pure Honor Division IS on the line here tonight! Handshake to start between these two members of the Revolution, and then the lock-up. The shooter vs the technician, neither man can get an advantage - spoke too soon. Ravager with a hammerlock behind Owens' back, pulling on it hard. Owens winces, but manages to counter into a hammerlock of his own. Counter again, Ravager taking Owens over with a headlock take over, grounding Carter. Ravager switches it up, trying to hook one of Owen's arms for a half-nelson/chicken-wing hold on the mat. Owens reaches around, trying to find a leverage. He could go to the ropes, but he's trying to avoid using up a rope break this quickly. Owens reaches up with his legs - great agility - and gets them around Ravager's head, headscissors applied! Owens puts the pressure on, now he's got the advantage as Ravager falls backwards. Owens with the head-scissors, Ravager trying to find purchase... Owens releases the hold? Ravager blinks away the stars in his eyes, Owens hits the ropes and nails a NICE swinging neckbreaker on Ravager! Cover gets two, but Owens made an impact there. He picks Ravager up - pendulum backbreaker! Owens holds Ravager over his knee, pressing down on the head and legs, trying to snap Ravager in half. Referee Morgan Smythe asking Ravager if he quits, Ravager shakes his head no. Owens with a big weight advantage over Ravager, stands back up with Ravager still in his arms --- backbreaker #2! This time he covers up for a two count. Ravager on the defensive as Carter Owens sends him to the ropes, catching him coming off with a knee to the breadbasket. Ravager flies over the knee, landing in a seated position. That leaves him vulnerable from behind for Owens to wrap his legs around Ravager's arm and PULL. CROSS ARM-BREAKER is locked on TIGHT, and Ravager's in danger of having his arm broken! He wisely uses his first rope break to get the cross arm-breaker broken. Owens releases as soon as the referee tells him to, backing off. Ravager takes a moment to regroup in the ropes. He pulls himself back up, Owens content to wait in the center of the ring for his opponent to come in. Ravager steps towards the man, tie-up - Ravager ducks behind him rapidly! German Suplex dumps Owens on his head! Ravager grabs the legs of Carter Owens, what's he doing here? SHARPSHOOTER?! Well... Ravager IS a hitman. He turns Owens over and SITS back classic Hart style, not pathetic Sting style! Owens roars in pain as Smythe checks on him. He's holding on, will he submit? Crawling forward, forward, forward... to grab the bottom rope! Owens uses his first rope break! And just in the nick of time. Ravager holds on just a second more, then releases the hold and gives Carter time to recover. Owens gets back to his feet... Ravager charges! Owens fires an elbow into Ravager's jaw! Ravager staggers backwards, and Carter Owens lights off the ropes with a helluva lariat, turning Ravager inside out. Cover gets TWO. Owens trying to build some momentum pulls Ravager to his feet, hooking a half-nelson face-lock - Forward Russian Leg Sweep connects! That's gotta be all, ONE, TWO, TH---Kick out! Owens places his hands on his hips, kneeling on the canvas, wondering what it's going to take to put Ravager down. He decides to go back to the arm, pulling Ravager up... arm-breaker over the shoulder! Ravager drops to his knees, grimacing in pain. Owens now, with a hammerlock... BACK SUPLEX, right on the arm! Ravager holding the arm, clearly in pain. If Owens locks on the cross arm-breaker again, this one will be over. He tries to go for it now! Ravager fighting off, refusing to let Owens lock it on. These two men are allies, but they're going at it without reservation! Ravager continuing to fight it off, so Owens changes tactics, driving a knee into Ravager's gut. With Ravager doubled over, Owens sticks him in a standing headscissors. He likes the double powerbomb! Ravager is up... andDDT! DDT! DDT! What a counter by Ravager, nailing a DDT out of the Powerbomb attempt! Owens is down, and Ravager is up - trying to shake some life back into that damaged wing of his. Ravager notes Owens starting to rise, so he hits the ropes, gets some serious speed and NAILS his man with a dropkick to the face! Ravager breaking out the MOVESET tonight, and here it is! DRAGON SUPLEX, Owens fights! Owens fight it, he doesn't want to take the LAST RESORT by any means! Ravager can't get it applied, his arm may be bothering him too much, Owens spins around, Ravager hooks him a different way! NORTHERN LIGHTS! ONE! TWO! TH---Owens kicks out! Another DDT! ONE! TWO! KICK OUT! Ravager fires Carter Owens to the turnbuckle, picks the man up to the top, BUSINESS IS BUSINESS, Owens fights him off! Owens shoves Ravager away, and... FLYING CLOTHESLINE countered INTO A CROSSFACE! Ravager has Owens on the canvas, wait, Owens gets his foot on the bottom rope! Second rope break by Owens, but what the hell! Ravager with the crossface out of NOWHERE! Ravager releases the hold, lets Owens up, they both charge! Owens yanks Ravager's wing again, causing pain to his man. Another arm-breaker over the shoulderWAIT A SEC, Ravager was luring Owens into that! Ravager with his arms around Owens' neck! Owens is squirming LAST RESORT! LAST RESORT! KABLAM! The dragon suplex folds Owens up, and Ravager hooks the leg, ONE, TWO, THREE! The crowd chanting "THAT-WAS-AWESOME!" as these two men both lay on the canvas, sweat covered and exhausted. Slowly they get to their feet, Carter Owens clearly crushed that he couldn't take this one home. But nonetheless, the two men shake hands in the middle of the ring, Ravager making a point to raise Carter Owens' arm and point at him. Fantastic contest, but sadly there can only be one winner. Tonight, that man is Ravager, but what a match!
Lloyd Rees, of course, garnering massive heat for his "FREE NFLD" flag and t-shirt (not to mention his disdain for the fans). Ol'Salty tells the camera that "t'title be ours soon, bye!" The champion enters next, Buggsy Goldstein by his side. The crowd isn't exactly a fan of his either. Uzi steps through the ropes WHAM. Rees nails him right then, raining down fists and knees while Uzi is still tied up in the ropes! Uzi trying to get into the ring, he tumbles in as Lloyd Rees mounts him, just firing away! RightrightrightRIGHT. Lloyd sneers into the camera: "Ye try t'hold me down, NAPW! Dis what ya get!" He turns around MONSTER lariat by Uzi! And the champion, yeah, he's LIVID. Lloyd sent into - up - and OVER the top turnbuckle, to the outside! Rees and Ol' Salty confer, but Uzi comes out! Double ax-handle off the ring apron crunches Lloyd Rees down! Wait a minute! Ol' Salty leaps on Uzi's back! He's trying to choke the man down like Westly on Fezzik in "The Princess Bride", apparently... Uzi tries to throw him off, but Salty lets go. Uzi turns around to face Salty, who blanches. Salty takes off, Uzi giving chase! Buggsy Goldstein sticks a foot out to trip Salty, sending him for a spill. Uzi grabs Salty up by the collar, this is not looking good for Ol' Salty! Uzi hoists Ol' Salty over his head, RED SEA DRIVER! Not on the outside, nooooREES FROM BEHIND! Lloyd Rees with --- it looks like a steel pipe! Where the hell did he get that from! Wherever, Rees blasted Uzi right in the side of the knee with it... and Uzi collapses in an ugly heap, his knee bending awkwardly. Ol' Salty keeps his hat on despite his tumble. Goldstein takes exception to Rees, but Rees blasts him with a right hand. The East Coast Sensation with an evil look on his face as he bundles Uzi back into the ring. Uzi trying to pull himself up by the ropes, his leg is clear in bad shape. Referee John Sharplin asks him if he wants to continue, Uzi says he will. That might not be a good idea, because Lloyd Rees has studied Ric Flair's playbook! Chopblock! Uzi goes down, pulls himself up by the ropes again. Chop block two! Target: Uzi's knee. Again, Uzi gets up, but this time Rees gets him from behind with a neckbreaker. Uzi's on the canvas... Lloyd props his leg on the bottom rope! Lloyd leaps up, crashing back down on Uzi's leg. Uzi with the Flair sell: "Oh God! Oh my god!" Elbow drop to the leg, and this time Lloyd attempts a cover. ONE! TWO! Th---Uzi uses his upper body strength to power out. Rees insults the front row, then rushes Uzi --- caught! Uzi with a snap powerslam! One! Two! Rees kicks out, and then kicks Uzi's leg out from under his... leg (we miss you, Owen). Rees shrugs, and then flashes a glance towards Ol' Salty. Salty places the pipe in one corner, then hops up on the ring apron opposite. Sharplin comes over to tell him to get down, and Lloyd tries to get in the ring, causing Sharplin to physically hold him back. Lloyd Rees... yep. Grabs the pipe. SMASHES it into Uzi's knee again. AGAIN. AGAIN. Rees beats Uzi's knee into so much jelly, and then locks on the FIGURE-FOUR LEG-LOCK! Conviently, that's when Salty chooses to listen to Sharplin and jump off the apron. Sharplin turns around and Uzi is down and out, shoulders down. ONE! TWO! TH---Uzi somehow gets his shoulders up! He just won't stay down! Uzi trying not to submit, but his shoulders go down again - ONE! TWO! Th---No! Uzi...Uzi trying to fight! He's trying to turn the move over, trying to turn the hold over... and... HE DOES! Lloyd breaks the hold, since now the pain is on HIM. And Uzi, his knee is clearly destroyed, is still pulling himself up by the ropes. But here's Rees with a DDT FROM THE GREEN on the ring apron! Uzi goes down, and just for good measure Rees gets his feet on the ropes for a THREE-COUNT...and the TELEVISION TITLE! Ol' Salty leaps for joy on the outside! "THE LEMONDROP KID" is the NEW TELEVISION CHAMPION, at the expense of quite possibly Uzi's career!
The bell rings and Chris Casino starts things off by darting in at Stein and chopping him hard across the chest. Stein does not seem to really mind all that much even after Casino lays into him with two more hard chops. Stein advances on the champion and Casino attempts to dodge out of the corner but Stein shoves him right back in, closing the gap further between the two. Casino dodges the other way and is again caught and tossed. It looks like Casino is running out of places to go and Stein raises his hands and lunges forward - Chris Casino springs to the second turnbuckle and jumps right over the lunging One Hundred! Casino slams both feet into the back of Stein's head on the way by, then lands on the mat softly. Casino doesn't pause for an instant, wheeling around and hitting the ropes as Stein once again stumbles out of the corner... RUNNING STO from Casino! Stein might be strong but he is not big and Chris Casino just folded him in half with that big impact move. Chris Casino doesn't go for the pin - now knowing that his opponent isn't going down easily and gets to his feet... STANDING SHOOTING STAR SPLASH! Chris Casino with the pin now after that amazingly athletic move but Stein still tosses him right off after the two count. Frustration showing on Chris Casino now as he slaps the mat before getting back to his feet. Again Stein is back on his feet and not looking much worse for the wear than when he started the match. Delivery Man #100 is shaking off a titanic kick to the head like it was a feather instead of a size twelve boot! Casino grabs the top rope with both hands and springs over, coming down on the apron and dropping the leg right across the back of Hundred's head.
