TUESDAY. NIGHT. FIGHTS.01/05/2007
Rawk is back in - RAWK FIST! A devastating flying punch! He covers again! Oneeee...twooooo...nooooo! Wright with another kickout! The fans are cheering for Rawk, and Moose looks pissed. He slides a shiny, small object to Wright - and jumps up on the apron! Referee Morgan Smythe runs over to get him down, and the two get in a shouting match so loud that Smythe can't hear Tex yelling that Wright is cheating! Wayne picks up the object, wraps it around his fist, and BOOM! Re-decorates Rawk's facial features, and then slaps on the Wright Way! What a lousy, rotten...Moose jumps down and Smythe turns back to the action, seeing the Wright Way being applied on Rawk..sees he's out cold...and calls for the bell! Wayne Wright wins by KO, and The Grade A Alberta Attitude picks up a huge momentum win before their Tag Title shot later tonight!
There's a short stare down between the two newcomers and the match is on! They lock up and immediately Saffire has the upper hand with a side headlock on Klopfenreich. Klopfenreich tries to push him off, but Saffire gets a handfull of spiky blonde hair! He laughs around at the audience to a round of boos, but locks in another side headlock like he didn't even notice. Klopfenreich is desperately trying to escape, elbows to the gut, fists to the kidneys. Finally the big man lets him go, holding his kidney. Klopfenreich backs up, waits for Saffire to turn around... SUPERKICK! CONNECTS! Right to the chin, but "The Grey Knight" doesn't go down! He looks PISSED! He charges Klopfenreich, but takes a drop toe-hold for his troubles, and hits the bottom rope. Klopfenreich climbs the turnbuckle, the fans are on their feet! Saffire gets up, don't turn around! FLYING DROPKICK! CAUGHT! Saffire slams him on the ground with a modified powerbomb! Jack "Grey Knight" Saffire is in complete control, Klopfenreich lies motionless on the mat! He wastes no time, grabing Klopfenreichs legs, stepping over... SHARPSHOOTER! And he's REALLY wrenching back on Tommy Klopfenreich's legs with that move! He has no other option but to tap out! Ladies and gentlemen, your winner, Jack "Grey Knight" Saffire!
Muerte is already in the ring with Krusty Kid Paul makes his entrance to a small pop. He starts walking towards the ring KRENSHOV "The Colossal" Kenny Krenshov blindsides Paul from behind with a huge lariat! Paul gets down and Krenshov immediately hauls him up, almost one-handed over his head GOOD GOD! Krenshov presses KKP above his head and sends the man flying into the security barricade throat first! That's just disgusting! Kenny Krenshov is no doubt looking for some measure of revenge after Tommy Deathrow caused him to lose his temper and lose to Brian Bruno in the shortest match in NAPW history on TNF, and everybody knows KKP and STD are tight. KKP holding his throat trying to recover some air, but Krenshov again presses Deathrow above his head... dropping him into a Stunner on his shoulder from the press position! Good lord, the referee and Dio Muerte are watching in stunned amazement... and then Krenshov, what's this? He drapes KKP over the security barricade, again throat-first, KKP is prone, he's got nothing left... Krenshov with a HEAD OF STEAM. NO! NO! NO! Krenshov splashing KKP's head and shoulders into the barricade with all of his near four-hundred pounds, and KKP is kicking in wild pain. Krenshov grabs the man with one hand by the mohawk and drags him to the ring, where he tosses his man into the ring. "RING THE BELL!" Krenshov yells at the ref. The referee looks like he more than likely is going to throw the match out, but Krenshov stares up at him furiously. "RING THE DAMN BELL." The referee suddenly decides to... have the match? DING DING DING. Dio Muerte looks at the beaten Krusty Kid Paul, down on the canvas. Krenshov smirks up nastily and nods, motioning to Muerte "Pin the son of a bitch!" Muerte shrugs and hooks a leg. ONE, TWO, THREE! Dio Muerte ... well, he wins the match! Krenshov immediately steps into the ring, telling the referee and Muerte to get the hell out. Muerte is quite happy to leave after his grueling "match." Krenshov stalking Krusty Kid Paul, KKP somehow trying to get to his feet. Unfortunately as soon as he does, Krenshov drives him into the corner hard. He hammers away on KKP, then irish whip to the other side --- KKP REVERSES! But Krenshov plants his feet, he ain't moving, it's a tug of war that ends with Krenshov short-arm clotheslining KKP damn near out of his boots. Krenshov two-hands KKP by the neck into the turnbuckle and delivers a series of repeated clotheslines, then gets some distance... RUNNING BIG BOOT HOLY. Krenshov just DESTROYED KKP, hitting with so much speed and momentum it carried Krenshov half-way over the top rope. KKP sags down to the corner and there Krenshov begins to choke the life out of the man with his boot. SUDDENLY! It's DEXTRO coming out to make a save on his pal KKP! He hits the ring and BOOM. Gets levelled! Krenshov destroys him with a lariat, and then? TOTAL ECLIPSE on Dextro! Where is Deathrow? He's not even in the building tonight! Tommy Deathrow is not in the building! Krenshov stands over the fallen bodies of Deathrow's friends, and roars. "COME ON, DEATHROW! COME ON! WHERE ARE YOU? COME ON!" Trainers and security rush out and pull KKP and Dextro out, both men are in bad ways, but particularly Krusty Kid Paul. Kenny Krenshov has sent a message to Deathrow here tonight, when Tommy is not even in the building to even the odds for his friends. What a sick display by an enraged Kenny Krenshov...
The bell sounds and their off! Chris Kamikaze and Legion hook up with a collar elbow tie up. The smaller Kamikaze is easily over powered and is up into a suplex. Legion begins to stall and walk about the ring showing just how strong he is... Then with a quick jerk of his body, he sends Chris Kamikaze down with a Twisting Suplex. Legion hooks the leg of Kamikaze. One! Two! Shoulder up! Legion grabs hold of Chris Kamikaze and lifts him to his feet...HARD Desperation Elbow by Chris Kamikaze! Kick to the midsection, Kamikaze off the ropes -- Swinging Neckbreaker, and in one motion he rolls back up to his feet and hits a Standing Moonsault! Incredible! Kamikaze jumps for the cover.. One! Two! Kickout! An infuriated Legion quickly gets back to his feet, he begins yelling at Kamikaze... Kamikaze rushes! Hard right hand levels Kamikaze and sends him flat on his back. Legion hits the ropes, jumps into the air and Knee Drop! Legion lifts the man back to his feet...Knee to the gut by Kamikaze, followed up by a chop! And another! Chop! Chop! Chop! Chop! Chop! Chop! He is just lighting Legion up. Legion reels into the ropes and Chris Kamikaze grabs hold of Legion and with a snapmare, takes him to the ground/ Kamikaze is on the ring apron, what's he trying here? Springboard Leg-BOTCH! Kamikaze slips on the top rope and lands horribly on the outside! Legion capitalizes and rolls out of the ring. Kamikaze gets up to his feet and begins limping away from Legion... Charging Clothesline to the back of Kamikaze! Legion proceeds by lifting up a now limp Chris Kamikaze and rolling him into the ring. Legion "helps" Kamikaze get back to his feet then Irish Whips him into the corner... Clothseline! Ducked, Kamikaze rebounds, Big boot! Ducked, Kamikaze rebounds once more.. Crossbody by Kamikaze --- CAUGHT --- POWERSLAM! What a reversal by Legion. Legion still incredibly angry takes Kamikaze to his feet via his hair and sends him into the ropes... Spinebuster! Legion with the cover! One! Two! Thre-Legion breaks the pin! He rolls Kamikaze onto his stomach and applies Legionnaire Lock! Kamikaze begins kicking and screaming but to no avail! They are in the middle of the ring... Kamikaze frantically taps out yelling "I give up"! "I give up"! But Legion has yet to let go of the Legionnaire Lock, he's in this to hurt Chris Kamikaze! He applies as much pressure as possible and Kamikaze lets out a glass shattering scream as his bones are nearly broken! Enough is enough, the match is over --- Wait! It's KEVIN KODIAK FROM THE CROWD! Legion sees this and breaks the hold, prepares for a fight against the returning Kevin Kodiak... And with that both men rush each other! Hard lefts and rights are exchanged, neither man is gaining an advantage, each shot they hit is returned even harder! Wait! Kevin Kodiak kicks in the knee of Legion and it causes him to stumble forward into a fierce uppercut! Legion lands flat on his back and rolls out of the ring to save himself from the "Bear Trap" Legion makes a hasty retreat, limping his way backstage... Kevin Kodiak grabs the microphone. He stares down at Legion and shouts "You want to pick on someone? Why don't you pick on me, son?" Legion snarls and walks through the curtain as Kodiak helps Kamikaze up to an ovation.
The heavily oiled Chip and the no nonsense Santiago tie up in the center of the ring each man jockeying for position. Chip shoves Santiago into the ropes and slaps him across the face. Hard. Santiago looks more confused than hurt and it's all the opening that Chip needs to lock him into a side headlock. Santiago uses Chips oily body to his own advantage and shoves him off. Chip spins around and takes a double chop thrust to the throat. Santiago snapmares Chip to the mat and tags in his partner Sakai. Sakai drives a knee into the face the a dazed Chip who looks to be almost ready to cry. Sakai pulls Chip to his feet, shoots him into the ropes... and nails the superkick right in the mush on the rebound! Chip scrambles over to his corner screaming bloody murder, pointing out the slight trickle of blood on his lower lip. He receives a hug from Dale who is equally oily and quite manly, patting him on the back. OMG ARE THEY GOING TO KISS? ...no, it's a tag. Huh. The legal man (barely legal) Dale rushes Sakai and gets sent face first to the mat with a drop toe hold. Sakai tags in Santiago and the duo both whip Dale into the far ropes and drop their heads for a double back body drop. Dale puts on the breaks, kicks Sakai in the head and clotheslines a rising Santiago! Sakai rolls out of the ring as Dale drops a well oiled elbow across the chest of Santiago. Dale sits on the chest of Santiago and goes for an odd pin cover. Santiago shoves Dale off at the count of two and looks pretty disgusted in the process. Dale pulls Santiago up, whips him into the far corner and follows him in. Boot to the face! Dale staggers back and gets taken off of his feet by a basement dropkick to the knee. Dale tries to get to his feet but is cracked with a spin kick to the head from the Generation Next member. Santiago climbs to the top rope and tries for a Movimiento Espectacular (Corkscrew Senton) only to have Dale move at the last second! Santiago hits hard and Dale start to crawl his way to his corner. Both men are crawling to their corners and the crowd is conflicted with who to get behind. Hot Tag to Chip! Tag to Sakai! Chip comes in a house of fire and takes out Sakai with a clothesline! Santiago gets to his feet and is scoop slammed by Chip! Dale enters the ring and it's chaos! As the four men battle it out the referee tries to restore some order. Dale whips Sakai into the ropes and ducks his head. Sakai sunset flips him the man, then rolls through for a wheel-barrow pin! One! Two! Thre! Generation Next take the win and quickly exit as Chip N' Dale look on in both hurt and confused at the outcome. Chip buries his face in Dale's manly, oily pectorals as their manager looks on in disgust. Can The Playgirlz overcome this loss Tuesday Night when they receive a tag title shot on the whim of Commissioner Joseph Winchell? That is, if D-X are STILL CHAMPIONS...
The bell rings, and right away Kurtis & James circle. There's an undercurrent of anger to this match: Jeff James feels disrespected by "The Show". Collar-and-elbow tie-up jockeying for position! Kurtis gets an armwringer, James slaps his arm and somersaults through, coming up and behind with an arm-wringer. Kurtis pops up, James ready to go. They lock-up again, this time James slips behind him, rear waist lock, into a back suplex --- Kurtis flips out at the apex and lands on his feet, SUPERKICK attempt (lots of HBK love tonight), James dodges and nails a legsweep. Standing moonsault, double knee-drop! The Crash Landing combo connects for ONE, TWO, kick-out. The action is fast and furious here! TV Title on the line! Jeff James hits the ropes as Kurtis gets up, jumping single-leg dropkick catches Chad in the face. With Kurtis down on the canvas, James goes to the top rope. He FLIES --- and his senton splash meets canvas alone. James holds his back as Kurtis regains his footing... he leaps up to the top rope, springboards off and backwards with a dropkick! Unbelievable agility from the Kentuckian! Cover gets only two, but Kurtis has the momentum. James gets up to his feet only to be met with a LARIATOOOO by Kurtis that takes him inside out, followed right by a STANDING SHOOTING STAR PRESS! That's gotta be all, NO! KICK-OUT! Chad Kurtis on fire now, pulling James to his feet. Irish whip into the corner, James reverses and charges, Kurtis slingshots over top of James though and hits a sunset flip! One, two, James kicks out and gets a pin of his own, one, two, kick-out by Kurtis. Both men up, James going for the Side Effect --- elbowed out by Kurtis, who turns it around behind for a German suplex, James elbows out himself and turns it around... JAMES EFFECT COMING UP --- Again reversed, this time KURTIS GETS THE GERMAN! He locks the hands and then nails a second german, he likes these in three. A third german suplex... BRIDGED. ONE. TWO. TH--- Jeff James somehow gets the shoulders up! Kurtis can't believe it, he holds up two fingers, but the ref assures him that it was not three. Kurtis says alright, hits the corner... BEST! MOONSAULT! EVER! ONE! TWOOO! THREEEE... FOOT ON THE ROPES. Jeff James holding onto his TV Title with everything he's got. Chad Kurtis says it's over! He gets James up into the standing headscissors and rolls his hands, signalling for the CK FINALE --- James though drops and hits a double leg-take down, James flips over him whilst holding the legs. ONE! TWO! THRE--- Kurtis gets out! Jeff James up, he says "IT'S TIME!" Is he going to try the move he's been talking about? He waits for Kurtis to get up... Kurtis tries a clotheline, James ducks and springboards off the top rope, hitting a scintillating Flipping DDT! HE COVERS! ONE! TWO! THREEE------NOOOO! KURTIS KICKS-OUT SOMEHOW! Jeff James can't BELIEVE it! He can't believe it! He goes to the top, he must do something, Kurtis is up, James with a flying clothesline, Kurtis with a dropkick to the gut of James on the way down! That stuns him, Kurtis grabs him again... CK FINALE! CANADIAN DESTROYER CONNECTS! THE CROWD GOES WILD! THE COVER! THE ONE! THE TWO! THE--- The FOUNDATION ATTACKING CHAD KURTIS. Thomas Young NAILING Kurtis before the three! Young firing away on Chad Kurtis as Prince Darko arrogantly swaggers into the ring. The referee is calling for the bell, it will be a disqualification win for Chad Kurtis. Unfortunately for him the TV Title does not change hands on a DQ, but right now his concern is the gang beating Darko & Young are laying into him. Wait! Jeff James whips Young around violently, angrily demanding an explanation from his brother! "What the hell are you doing?" "Saving your title, little bro, FOUNDATION-Style!" Darko gets into it, James shoves Darko in the chest! Young gets between his brother and his partner, WILL THE FOUNDATION EXPLODE? A pissed-off Chad Kurtis suddenly takes down Thomas Young! And... Jeff James stomps Kurtis! Darko joins in! The Foundation are united again on Chad Kurtis, beating the hell out of him. Thomas Young grabs a steel chair from outside the ring, what's this? Thomas just put Chad Kurtis face first on the steel chair and now he's riding the back, holding the arms out of the way. Oh no! Prince Darko... STOMPS THE BACK OF KURTIS's head into the chair. That's SICK. Kurtis shudders and goes limp --- HERE COMES HIS BROTHER MATTHEW KURTIS! MATT KURTIS HITS THE RING AT A RUN, THE FOUNDATION SCATTER! Kurtis yelling, he wants a piece of them! The Foundation, Darko grinning broadly, are heading the hell up the aisle but the damage is done. Matthew Kurtis checking on his brother, folks, "The Show" may be seriously hurt from that curbstomping like move by the Foundation. Matthew Kurtis looking over his brother, yelling for medical assistance... and Chad Kurtis has an NAPW title match this Tuesday! Oh my God!
A slightly tired Wayne Wright and a ready to rumble "Moose" Millar jump the tag champs, looking to end things quickly. Bruce Richards and Kyle Roberts fight back, and referee John Sharplin struggles to maintain order. Wayne and tries a body press on Richards, but Richards catches the smaller man, and does a fall away slam, sending the "Wild Rose" to the outside. Richards goes to his corner, as "Stylin' Kyle and the Moose trade punches. Millar catches Roberts with a stiff right hook, causing the Stylin one to stumble. Moose goes for a lariat, but Roberts ducks, and catches Moose on the rebound with a European Uppercut! Millar staggers, and Roberts goes for The Moose Jaw Driver, but Wayne Wright runs in with a chop block, and Roberts drops Moose down. Millar grabs Richards and it's Slingshot suplex time! Stylin Kyle is driven to the mat and Millar goes for the early cover! One... Two.. Only a two count. Millar drags Roberts up and puts him over his shoulder, going for a running powerslam... but Richards runs in with a chop block of his own on the Moose! Wright screams about the injustice as Roberts takes down Millar with a DDT, then hits the ropes for a Lionsault! A cover! One... Two! But Millar kicks out! Roberts tags in "The Beast" , who goes for The Claw on the weakened Moose, but Millar kicks Richards in the gut, and tags in Wright. Wright races in and connects with a jaw jammer on Richards. Richards goes to one knee, and Wright capitalizes on the advantage and goes for the Thorny Embrace! He locks it in, and the Beast is in trouble! Roberts tries to get the fans to cheer his partner on, while the Moose is having a good laugh, as he can practically taste the tag titles. The Beast seems to be fading, as he tries to get a foot on the ropes, and break the hold. Wright shifts his weight to put more pressure on the hold. The fans are stamping their feet, yelling, doing whatever they can to inspire the Beast to fight the maneuver. A camera shot reveals that the Beast's eyes are starting to roll back, and he's almost out. Sharplin is about to call for the bell... But then the Beast's eyes open wide! He seems to be struggling... Wright is trying to keep the hold locked in... But The Beast is fighting his way to his feet... and with a huge burst of strength PICKS UP WRIGHT (who still has the hold locked in) AND SLAMS HIM TO THE MAT (okay, now the hold is broken...) Richards collapses to the mat. Wright squirms in pain, but crawls to his corner to tag in the Moose. Richards uses whatever energy he has left to dive over to Roberts... and it's hot tag time! Roberts ducks a clothesline, and nails Millar with a Tilt a whirl Backbreaker! An impressive move, considering the size of Millar. Wright runs in to help, but he gets a Moose Jaw Driver for his trouble! Millar staggers to his feet, and Richards is back in the ring, and the New and Improved D-X deliver some back and forth punches on Mister Millar! Wright is up, but is sent back down as the tag champs double hip toss "The Wild Rose" over the top rope and to the floor! Millar is dazed... just enough for Roberts to hit the polarizer! And Beast has scaled the ropes... It's DOWN & DIRTY! Roberts with the cover! One ... Two... Three! The New and Improved D-X retain the belts!
But this is only the first of the non stop gauntlet mandated by Joseph Winchell! What will Happen Tuesday Night when they must defend their belts against the Playgirlz?! Only one way to find out, and that's to tune in to TUESDAY NIGHT FIGHTS!
