|
HEIGHT & WEIGHT: 6'1", 247 lbs. BIO: Sick and tired of being stuck in a dead end job, not willing to work in the fishery like so many people before him, and knowing that his so-called "country's government" couldÊcare less about Newfoundland, the man known to many now as "The Lemondrop Kid" decided it was time for a change. So... Lloyd Rees, like so many Newfoundlanders before him, headed "out west" to Alberta, Canada to make his fortune. After numerous jobs from Calgary to Fort McMurray, Lloyd stumbled across the NAPW. Lloyd always dreamed about becoming a wrestling superstar and though this was he chance to really make it big. He was right!! In the NAPW, Rees became a name known, not only through western Canada, but the entire wrestling world. "The Lemondrop Kid" or "LDK", as he now wishes to be called, won multiple titles in the NAPW; Television Title, Provincial Title, and the NAPW Title and worked his way to the top of ENN Top 250 list for 2006. After a successful first half of 2007, Rees suffered a series of setbacks both professional and personal and went on a losing skid. A loss to the rookie Jacob Venar proved to be the wake-up call Rees needed. The ensuing alliance and rivalry with Venar has helped Rees find his footing as the "Technical Terror" of NAPW. "LDK" is back! APPEARANCE: Shoulder length black hair and any given facial hair style surround the face of "LDK." His ring attire consists of black shoot fighting style wrestling boots, black knee pads with red stars, black trunks with "Free NFLD." written in white super imposed over a red star, black elbow pads with red stars.

"The Ego Buster" Dan Ryan
HEIGHT & WEIGHT: 6'7", 335 lbs
BIO: Ryan is all about himself. His friends are few and far between and he likes it that way. However, the friends he does have he is fiercely loyal to and protective of. Still, nothing is allowed to come between him and his goals. Always leaning toward the heel side, Ryan has been alternately face and heel throughout his career. It just depends on what his immediate goal is at the time. Ryan accepts the occasional loss in that he looks at situations long-term, but his confidence is overwhelming. Will take a loss knowing a win will come the next time. Classic counterpuncher. Puroresu trained and very technically sound, to go along with well above average power. Think a cross between Scott Steiner in his prime Steiner Brother days crossed with Gary Albright. Something like that. APPEARANCE: A well built caucasian man, built along the lines of Brock Lesnar with the added height. Blonde hair combed back. Usually wearing dark sunglasses. Comes to the ring with a black elbow pad on each elbow, black trunks and black kneepads. Black (see a trend?) boots with "DR" on the side. He joined FCW, where his half-brother, Matthew, was already a rising star, Chad quickly climbed up the ranks while creating controversy on the way to becoming arguably the greatest champion in FCW history. Chad truly became "The Show". Once the steroid scandal rocked and ultimately destroyed FCW, "The Show" went to Japan to study the Puroresu style of wrestling where he quickly became known as the great white hope. After a successful stint in Japan he took his skills to Mexico to study the Lucha libre style. He became a sensation in Mexico before bringing his arsenal to Canada joining NAPW. Upon joining NAPW, "The Show" used his skills to establish himself as a force to be reckon with winning the Television title as well as co-holding the tag titles twice with his half brother, Matthew Kurtis. "The Show" has turned his focus on reclaiming a spot as one of the top singles wrestlers in NAPW. To add to his already stocked arsenal of moves "The Show" has recently earned a brown belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and his black belt in Kempo Karate. Everyone knows "The Show" has the talent, and they know he is a force to be reckoned with, but personal issues have held Chad back from reaching his full potential. Still, the question remains: is this the year that "The Show" puts it all together? Nicknames: The innovator of offense, The Last "Actio" Hero, The True PTPer, The Superstar, The Show. APPEARANCE: Chad has movie star looks with a wrestler's body. He is built with 6 pack abs but not overly muscular. His out of the ring attire is your basic young hip designer fashions. BIO: Trent Daniels came to the NAPW to pursue his dream of becoming a star in the wrestling world. He went on a meteoric rise, gaining popularity among the internet fanbase through his grass roots process with the help of an ever expanding Trent Daniels Street Team. Defeating such notable NAPW super stars as Dez Carter and Stone Zellor, Trent Daniels became NAPW Heritage Champion in his short time with the NAPW only to lose it to Jake Phoenix. Currently Daniels is wrestling through a severe rib injury caused at the hands of Dan Ryan and continually made worse by the likes of Jake Phoenix and NAPW legend D! Trent Daniels is on a mission to regain his momentum and gain revenge on those who have crossed him, namely Jake Phoenix and D! A true competitor in every sense of the word Trent Daniels thrives on taking on the best, even if it means being beaten down every time he steps into the ring. Mystic Ninja
HEIGHT & WEIGHT: 5'8", 200 lbs
BIO: Part of a large extended family with roots in the old country, the man who would become the Mystic Ninja was raised on North American pop culture, poor quality VHS rips of bad-audio Hong Kong action films, badly translated Malaysian soap operas, incomplete Bollywood musicals, Italian-dubbed anime and thousands of snippets of Japanese puroresu matches. After leaving a promising university career at 19 to train at Lumberjesus' independent Achtung Academy, the Mystic Ninja traveled the world--Japan, Mexico, United States, Australia and even Ukraine--trying to make a living wrestling in numerous independent promotions, never stopping in any one place for more than a year. Never, that is, until his big break at Moose Jaw Pro, where he played both with and against fellow Achtung Academy graduate, Expositioner. They soon teamed up and the rest, as they say, is history. APPEARANCE: Blue sleeveless tunic (pattern resembling light flak vest or armour plates), silver belt, blue tights with thin silver lightning down the sides, black boots with blue trim, blue mask covering the lower half of his face, blue bracers with silver trim. A graduate of the famed Achtung Academy, Expositioner wrestled in several Canadian independent pro wrestling promotions, including Moose Jaw Pro Wrestling, Kananaskis Wrestling Circuit (K-Dub), Canadian Territories Wrestling, and a short stint as commissioner of Maritime Extreme Pro Wrestling (MEXpro). It was at Moose Jaw Pro where he was reunited with his friend from Achtung Academy, the Mystic Ninja, and whether in singles or paired matches, whether competing with or against Ninja, they found they worked very well together. They soon found great success as Mystic Exposition and hope to continue that success in NAPW. When not actively wrestling, Expositioner is one of the founders of the Canadian Independent Professional Wrestlers' Combine, a new non-profit collective that provides support and contacts for independent wrestlers working in Canada. He is currently dating independent wrestler Canadian Elmo. Ravager
HEIGHT & WEIGHT: 5'10", 210 lbs BIO: A silent assassin, Ravager lets his actions speak for themselves. He is a gun for hire, and he only accepts top dollar, no matter who offers. Ravager has played many roles in NAPW. For the first year, he existed as the antithesis of fan-favorite D!, himself swinging from a fan-favorite to hated wrestler. Their feud ended when D! went mad and left NAPW. Ravager would go on to defeat The Plague in a heated war, and then to the surprise of many, win the NAPW title from Evan Cartwright in January 2007. THEN. He kept it for ten straight title defenses and over six months, a record NOBODY has come close to touching and likely never will. Ravager established himself as the ACE of NAPW in that time. In fall 2007, he engaged in a bitter war with Jake Phoenix, culminating in a "Loser Leaves NAPW" match at Black Thursday III. To the shock of NAPW fans and certainly himself, Ravager was beaten and forced to retire from the promotion he helped build. Now, through an open contract, Ravager has found his way back in... and there will be hell to pay. APPEARANCE: Pale white, with jet black hair. He dresses in expensive suits outside the ring, but for his matches he wears conservative black trunks.

Dez Carter
HEIGHT & WEIGHT: 6'2", 244 lbs
BIO: Dez grew up in a small suburb of Pittsburgh. He began studying the martial arts at age 6. He quickly excelled and became a black belt when he turned 16. Dez eventually caught a pro wrestling show on his local TV station. He decided that wrestling was exactly what he wanted to do for a living. He went to the PPW training school and there met trainer and wrestler Outlaw. The two became fast friends and Dez began to excell at his craft. After completing his training, he got an offer to go study in Japan. One of the PPW students, Kenzo Tagara, was returning home and wished for Dez to accompany him. Dez loved it in Japan and adapted well to their style. There he met Asuka Katsuragi, the daughter of the promoter he was working for, and the two became best friends. When it was time for Dez to return to the US, Asuka came with him. After a midly successful NAPW stint, including holding the Pure Honor Title, Carter walked away from the promotion due to a variety of reasons. After getting his life in order, Dez makes his return hoping to pick up where he left off and make a big splash in NAPW. With some new moves in his arsenal, including a new finisher, Carter is ready to take on the cream of the crop in NAPW. APPEARANCE: Dez is a well-built man but not overly muscular. He has more of an athletic build to him. He has short brown hair and blue eyes. He wheres firy red wrestling trunks, with "Fighting Spirit" written in Japanese down the sides. The shirt he wears states, "Strong in spirit, strong in heart" also written in Japanese. He completes his look with a pair of black boots.
MANAGED BY: Asuka Katsuragi
ACCOMPLISHMENTS: Pure Honor
KRENSHOV
HEIGHT & WEIGHT: 6'9", 350 lbs BIO: Krenshov is a man with a violent temper, a temper that has landed him in jail for two undisclosed felonies. After his second jail sentence, his (at the time) only friend Eli Potts, wrestling manager extraordinaire, scored his massive friend a job with the Canadian-based Indy promotion, NAPW. There, Kenny Krenshov and Eli Potts allied with the (then) owner Joseph Winchell, doing his dirty work, and doing it well. Krenshov took care of any wrestler who got in Winchell's way, and sometimes, even ended careers. With a great winning streak, and an impressive mean streak, it didn't take long for everyone in the NAPW locker room to take notice of the beast that was Kenny Krenshov. Chris Casino confronted Krenshov with the idea of forming the group, the Untouchables. This alliance was a recipe for disaster, but while they were together, they struck fear and a reign of terror over everyone in NAPW. It wasn't long before the group began to break down, leaving only Kenny and Casino left, which lasted as long as Sole Survivor II, where Chris showed his true colors, and tried to eliminate Krenshov from the Battle Royale-like match. The stress began to get to Kenny, and frustration reared its ugly head. In a match against a practical nobody, Krenshov went berserk. He maliciously berated the wrestler, and then struck a taunting fan. When Eli tried to confront Krenshov about it, he received one of the most devastating maneuvers in professional wrestling for his troubles, the Total Eclipse. Kenny fled the country before authorities could deport him, and went back to his home in New Jersey. Months later, Eli Potts showed up at his doorstep in a wheel chair, with a lawyer and a body guard. Eli threatened to take legal action against Kenny for paralyzing him from the waist-down unless he complied to sign a contract. This contract gave Eli full control over all of Kenny's professional decisions, turning Krenshov into a practical puppet. Afraid that the next time he would go to court would send him away for life, Kenny agreed to the ridiculous contract to keep himself from prison. Eli took Kenny overseas to Japan temporarily to earn more money, spread Kenny's name, and to promote Rebel. A month later, however, Kenny Krenshov returned, mysteriously alone. He claims that Eli, albeit extremely uncharacteristic, simply let Kenny go from the dreaded contract. There has been, however, rumors that a missing persons report has been filed for Eli Potts and that the FBI may begin a possible investigation. Either way, after a successful stint in NAPW's sister promotion REBEL Pro, Kenny's back in NAPW, and he looks to crank up the intensity a couple of notches. He has returned as a man for hire, willing to take out anyone, anytime, for a price. APPEARANCE: Kenny Krenshov is a mass of muscle and scar tissue. While he is still a relatively young man, he looks as if he's in his forties due to the massive amounts of beatings he took and delivered in his earlier years. His face and his fists are both leathery, and his tan makes him look unnaturally dark. Krenshov's hair is normally gelled into tiny black spikes. Both his arms are sleeved with tattoos, and his back has a massive tattoo running up his spine and along his shoulders. In the ring Krenshov sports normal black trunks, with black or sometimes white boots. Since Kenny's return from Japan, he has lost a considerable amount of weight, giving his body a more athletic and defined look.
ACCOMPLISHMENTS: NAPW World Championship
"Bad Boy" Joey Malone
HEIGHT & WEIGHT: 5'10", 231 lbs BIO: Joey Malone is a bad, bad boy! Whatcha gonna do when he comes for you? Also D-X's ultimate fan-boy/eternal pledge, Joey Malone is known to use Stylin' Kyle Roberts moves in matches. Poorly. This irritates Stylin' Kyle, but Joey is cheerfully oblivious. He also spent one weekend constantly stealing Rex Caliber's Heavyweight title belt. Joey got beat up a lot that weekend. Of course, Joey gets beat up a lot in general. Recently the BAD BOY became the first ever NAPW EXTREME JOBBER CHAMPION, losing to Nightmare on an edition of Tuesday Night Fights! APPEARANCE: Greasy long dark hair, Kurt Angle-style singlet in black, yellow and red, standard wrestling boots. Not incredibly built or anything. Really nothing special, other than being especially ugly. STABLE: WGA
VALET: Mandy
Chris Kamikaze
HEIGHT & WEIGHT: 5'11, 204 lbs
BIO: Raised in Vancouver, Chris Anderson was a professional TV/movie stuntman for a number of different projects. One day, on set for a movie, Chris was a little too close to an explosion, and lost pressure in one of his ears. Faced without a career at the age of 26, he saw NAPW on a tour through British Columbia, and decided that his fate lay in the world of professional wrestling. As of yet, we're not sure if his inner-ear imbalance will cost him anything in the ring. APPEARANCE: Husky, but not ripped, Chris Kamikaze wears wrestling trunks with bombers on the side. He looks like an average guy, which helped him a lot in his job as a stuntman, but he doesn't have much of a superstar look. STABLE: WGA
ACCOMPLISHMENTS: Tag Team Championship
Big Mitch
HEIGHT & WEIGHT: 6'6", 400+ pounds (OF FAT)
BIO: Big Mitch was once a prime specimen of USDA Grade-A sculpted man beef, spending countless hours in the gym honing his physique. He was an in-demand bodybuilder and pro wrestler. Until his career went down the tubes, he started losing his hair, and he discovered the joy of ham sandwiches. Three at a time. When Big Mitch looks in the mirror, he tries to convince himself that he still looks like a stud, but his friends are always quick to point that indeed, he is now a big fat guy. APPEARANCE: Picture Hulk Hogan. Okay? Got it? Good. Now put his face on the body of Hurley from "Lost." Shudder.
STABLE: WGA
Esteban
HEIGHT & WEIGHT: 5'7", 176 pounds
BIO: What needs to be said about Esteban? Sure, he's abrasive, always getting on people's nerves by obsessing about balls or sucking on them. However, underneath that hotheaded jerk exterior is... No, you know what? He's an emotionally stunted jerk. But that's all he knows how to be! Where did he come from? He only wrestled in NAPW for a week, but he was always seen backstage, just hanging out like he was a friend of someone on the roster. But now he's looking to become part of something bigger. Part of the Worker's Guild of Alberta! APPEARANCE: If you picture Konnan with the frame of Rey Mysterio, you've got it. Rowdy rowdy bowdy bowdy!
STABLE: WGA
Gary (Mr. Slick's Double)
HEIGHT & WEIGHT: 6'2", 242 lbs
BIO: Originally hired to be a body double to the greatest TV champ of all time Mr. Slick, Gary was... originally hired to be a body double to Mr. Slick. And now he's back! Yeah! APPEARANCE: Well, he looks like Mr. Slick, an angry black man from the barrios of Miami, because he was hired to be a body double. However, Gary is a lot more pleasant. (Think Shelton Benjamin or Jay Lethal, who can be mean when they want to be, but are usually smirking/smiling.)
STABLE: WGA
Stein
HEIGHT & WEIGHT: 5'9", 180 lbs
BIO: A man with a complicated past, Stein was once controlled by a man called Dr. Morgoth, before being broken away by the storied Delivery Men, eventually becoming one of their number (#100, to be precise). He disappeared from the face of the earth in mid 2006, only to reappear at NAPW's Anniversary Assault II. Recently, he has become associated with NAPW's other resident misfits: the WGA. APPEARANCE: Stein is a slim man of average height dressed in the tattered remnants of a Delivery Man uniform. His hair is coal black and stands out at crazed angles. What attracts the most attention when looking at Stein are this his eyes, which seem to flow from color to color, and possess no whites at all. The skin visible through his ruined clothes is dead white for the most part, but criss-crossed with vivid red scars that always look fresh.
ACCOMPLISHMENTS: Tag Team Championship, Provincial Championship
Modo WHOA!
HEIGHT & WEIGHT: 5'9", 189 lbs
BIO: Having competed in Canadian indy promotion, Premier Wrestling, Modo WHOA! was brought to NAPW to aid Stone Zellor against Bruce Richards. Hopefully he'll secure a longer contract so that he can hone his skills in NAPW as well.
APPEARANCE: He wears a full body skeleton suit. Never takes it off in public, but may wear pants and a top over it when not wrestling.
Masafumi Satake
HEIGHT & WEIGHT: 5'10'' 220lbs
BIO: Satake is the old sage of the wrestling circuit, having traveled the world and finding success in many parts of it. Starting out in the sport due to his father's encouragement, Satake was soon gripped tightly in the sport. Spending two years to train for his path, he debuted in 1992 for SJW and also kept his options open by freelancing across the country, garnering a number of successes along the way. Two years later in 1994, Satake ventured to America and continued to sharpen his skills. In 1996, Satake suffered a set back when his father passed from a heart attack and would as result, take a semi-sabbatical from wrestling, performing occasionally around Japan. In 1998, Satake made a full comeback to wrestling and soon after returned to America during the "hardcore" boom in wrestling. When the sport began to die down, Satake took another step back, continuing to freelance world wide. In 2005 and part of 2006, Satake had a resurgence participating in the 2005 WWA Silverhawk Tournament (juniors), taking runner up. In 2006, Satake returned to Japan with the rebuilt Pro-Wrestling of Japan (now PROMO*JAPAN). Satake had a number of highlight matches including contests with and against reigning PWC World Champion, Mitsuharu Nogami. Satake broke away from P*J, desiring to freelance and impart his knowledge to a new generation. APPEARANCE: Jet black hair and a deep dark scar under his left eye define Satake's calm appearance. He holds himself with strong posture at all times, displaying pride in his heritage.
His ring gear is simple and non-flashy. He always has his forearms wrapped in white tape, and wears loose black martial arts pants with a thick red stripe down the side.
